District Court Decision in Ægisaudur Claim

Ægisauður ehf. filed a claim against BYR in October 2010, claiming ISK 473 million as a priority claim per article 109 (claim no 698).  The Winding-up Board rejected the claim and Ægisauður took the case to the District Court.
On 21 July 2014 the District Court of Reykjavík ruled in favor of the Winding-up Board and rejected all claims made by Ægisauður.  District Court case no X-61/2012.  BYR was however judged to pay ISK 1,5 million in legal cost, which the WuB has appealed to the Supreme Court.
Ægisauður has three months from the ruling date of 21 July 2014 to appeal the judgment to the Supreme Court.
News update -> On 1 August 2014 Ægisauður appealed the District Court ruling to the Supreme Court.
